The Brigadier General E. Ralph Lupin Widows and Orphans Fund

When a soldier falls in the line of duty, the family of the fallen suffers immensely. The pain caused by this untimely death will touch them for the rest of their lives.

The Helping Israel Fund stands beside the families of fallen soldiers, providing a shoulder that they can lean on. Through our Widows and Orphans Fund, the Helping Israel Fund sponsors a variety of projects supporting the families of fallen soldiers.

Projects within the Widows and Orphans Fund include:

• Distribution of holiday food packages for the families of fallen soldiers.
• Sponsorship of recreational outings for family members of fallen soldiers.
• Distribution of supermarket credit for families that have lost their primary breadwinner.
• Provision of “enlistment kits” for the younger siblings of fallen soldiers who would like to honor their siblings and follow in their footsteps.
