The Helping Israel Fund stands beside these soldiers, moving forward with their lives, providing a scholarship for former soldiers. The Helping Israel Fund's Scholarship is awarded based on military service, need, and continuing communal service.

Many supporters of Israel are familiar with the concept of "lone soldiers" - those who are living in Israel without a family to support them. Less known are those Hareidi (ultra-Orthodox) volunteers who face ideological opposition from their family and friends as a result of their decision to enlist. We support such soldiers, men and women, in any way we can.

The Helping Israel Fund has adopted the Arayot HaYarden (Lions of Jordan) Brigade and the Border Patrol's Training Base. Arayot HaYarden is one of the Israel Defense Force's newest combat brigades open to both men and women. Our sponsorship of the units goes towards many forms of assistance for the soldiers.

Soldiers on patrol must take army-mandated breaks over the course of their long shifts, but sometimes there is nowhere safe or comfortable to stop. To answer the need, we have built several "Warm Corners" to provide soldiers with a place to relax and "recharge their batteries" while on break.
