Our Adopted Units

The Helping Israel Fund has adopted the Arayot HaYarden (Lions of Jordan) Brigade and the Border Patrol’s Training Base. Arayot HaYarden is one of the Israel Defense Force’s newest combat brigades open to both men and women.

Our sponsorship of the units goes towards many forms of assistance for the soldiers, including the following:

• Rec room and gym equipment for the units’ bases
• Aid for needy and lone soldiers serving in the units
• Recreational activities for the units’ soldiers
• Exercise clothing and backpacks for soldiers in the units
